Precision medicine is an emerging approach for prevention and treatment which takes into account the individual's variations in genes, environment and lifestyle. In my unit, I collaborate with Dr Deffur to look at data from metabolic paramaters, genetics and wearable data.

what we do
The Process
I do a thorough psychiatric assessment. Dr Deffur does a physical examination, some blood tests and genetic testing. If appropriate, we will collect data from a watch to monitor heart rate and sleep patterns.
We put it all together. This process does take commitment from the patient to be part of the team in gathering data and finding solutions.
